This Summer Place Drive renovation brought warmth, craftsmanship, and cohesive design to the spaces where the homeowners spend the most time. Working across the living room, kitchen, sitting room, and laundry room, our team created a bright, timeless look tied together by soft white millwork, warm metallic accents, and thoughtful architectural details.

The Fireplace & Built-Ins

The living room centerpiece is a floor-to-ceiling stacked stone fireplace in warm cream tones, with a recessed niche that sets the television flush into the stone for a clean, integrated look. A rough-hewn, dark-stained wood beam mantel adds rustic character and contrast against the light stone. The fireplace is flanked by custom built-ins with arched tops, deep floating shelves for displaying the homeowners’ art collection, and shaker-style storage cabinets below finished with brass knobs. Crown molding and recessed lighting finish the space.

The Kitchen

The kitchen pairs crisp white shaker cabinetry, carried to the ceiling with crown molding, with brushed brass pulls throughout. Quartz countertops with subtle veining run the full length of the kitchen and extend into a peninsula with bar seating that opens to the dining area. The backsplash uses a handmade-look glazed tile in an elongated subway pattern, whose natural variation catches the light beautifully. A copper pull-down faucet and matching beverage faucet over an angled undermount sink add a warm focal point, complemented by stainless steel appliances and a black iron lantern chandelier over the dining table.

The Sitting Room

In the sitting room, a dramatic double-tiered octagonal tray ceiling with layered crown molding draws the eye upward and gives the space an elegant, architectural presence. Soft white trim and walls let the homeowners’ rich wood furnishings and collected pieces take center stage.

The Laundry Room

Even the laundry room got a design upgrade. A white two-panel sliding barn door on warm bronze-toned hardware, with a recessed flush pull, saves space while adding a custom touch. Clean white walls and trim keep the room bright and functional.
